Leafs captain, Dion Phaneuf, and forwards Phil Kessel and Jeoffrey Lupul will all partake in the ASG Sunday in the nation's capital (Ottawa, for all you American's). There is no doubt that these three have had a magnificent first half of the season and there is no surprise on why they are recognized as the leagues best.

Lupul is 8th best in the NHL with 32 apples (assists, for all the non-hockey people). Along with that he has 20 ginos (goals) which makes puts him 6th place in the NHL with 52 points. Kessel, is right behind Lupul with 51 points (8th best in NHL). He also has 26 ginos (5th in NHL) and 25 helpers. Phanuef is 10th best amongst all defensemen with 28 points and is 15th best with 21 apples. He is also 13th best amongst defensemen with 113 hits on the season.

Don't forget to catch these superstars play on Sunday, January 29th at 4 p.m Eastern time.
Hopefully, these stars can continue their dominance as the league's best players and help the Leafs clinch a playoff spot come April. It's been a while since I've seen the Blue & White make the post season and nothing would be sweeter than to clinch a post season spot and knock out the Sens after the first round (it's the one thing I pray for).
