Tie Domi
Some people may ask "why the Leafs?" Others argue that they have not won the cup since '67 so there is no point in being a fan. Forget that, it's all about the blue and white for the rest of my life. Hello all, my name is Louie Polyzois and I am the founder of this blog and I will provide information regarding the Toronto Maple Leafs (TML) hockey team. Being born and raised in Toronto, I support all the professional sports teams within the city, but more so the Leafs. From playing hockey at the age of 4, it was definitely the first sport I was exposed towards, both as a spectator and a player. The legacy of hockey and more specifically the Toronto Maple Leafs was always present within my house hold. Growing up my exposure to the Leafs also grew as my family have always been Leafs fans. Evenings would consist of gathering around the T.V. as a family and cheering on our respected Leafs. The game of hockey has given me much respect for the team and as well for the former and current players. As a kid, I was fortunate enough of walking the same path as the Leafs, at the former home arena, Maple Leafs Gardens. Being only 6 years old, I did not really know who any of the players were and never met a professional hockey player. It was at that time when Tie Domi was signing autographs for a crowd of fans and I begged my mother to receive one of the hundred autographs he signed that afternoon. At that moment, Tie Domi instantly became my favourite hockey player and I knew the Leafs were going to be my favourite team for the rest of my life.

Note to readers: I HATE the HABS and DESPISE the SENS.
